Information We Collect
The Taskmin website and installer downloads may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser or device details, requested pages or files, timestamps, and security logs. This helps deliver the site, provide downloads, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
If you email support or send feedback, we may receive your name, email address, app version, platform, message text, screenshots, and any other information you choose to send.
If you sign in or use cloud features, Taskmin may process account identifiers, authentication details, sync records, backup records, and related operational records.
Offline Workspace Data
Taskmin desktop stores offline workspace data on your device. Workspace data may include projects, tasks, notes, calendar records, workstreams, tags, priorities, settings, backups, and workspace metadata.
Workspace data stays on your device unless you use a feature that sends it somewhere else, such as Cloud Sync, cloud backup, AI provider calls, support reports, exports, or backups you manually share.
Cloud, Backup, And AI Features
Cloud Sync is optional, paid/request-only during beta, and only used when you sign in with an account that has sync access. Creating or signing in to an account does not upload offline workspace data by itself. Cloud backup is not live unless Taskmin says it is available in the app. If it becomes available, backup behavior and any limits will be shown before you use it.
AI features may send selected workspace context or prompts to the AI provider you configure or choose. Those providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
Payments
Paid checkout is not live. If paid plans become available, the checkout or payment service will collect payment, billing, tax, and fraud-prevention information under its own terms and privacy policy. Taskmin may receive purchase and account-status records needed to provide paid access, support purchases, handle refunds, and meet legal, tax, and accounting duties.
How We Use And Share Information
We use information to operate Taskmin, authenticate accounts, provide sync and backup features, respond to support and deletion requests, diagnose bugs, manage paid access, protect against abuse, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and fraud-prevention obligations.
We may share information with trusted service providers that help us host the website, provide account and cloud features, deliver email, handle diagnostics if enabled, process payments if enabled, track support or bug reports, and meet bookkeeping, tax, legal, security, or fraud-prevention needs. We only share what is reasonably needed for those purposes.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use private Taskmin workspace content for advertising.
Your Choices And Contact
You may use offline features where available, choose whether to sign in or use cloud features, export or back up offline workspace data using available Taskmin tools, and remove sensitive information before sending support reports.
For privacy, support, and account deletion requests, email [email protected]. Offline Taskmin workspace data is stored on your device and is handled separately from account deletion.
