Account/Login

Manage desktop cloud access.

Taskmin V1 is desktop-first. Use the desktop app to sign in and work locally; this page is the website landing point for account help, billing-code testing, and future checkout or customer-portal links.

Desktop sign-in

Open Taskmin on your computer, sign in or create an account from the app login screen, then use Settings Billing to refresh cloud entitlement after a code or payment change.

  1. Install or open the Taskmin desktop app.
  2. Sign in with your Taskmin account email.
  3. Open Settings, then Billing.
  4. Click Refresh billing after account or code changes.

Billing-code testing

Friend-and-family cloud access is tested with simulated subscription codes. Code redemption must run through trusted website/server tooling so the desktop app never stores a service-role key or grants itself paid access.

Redemption setup pending: Steven will configure the Supabase billing tables, test users, and server-side code redemption before this page accepts codes directly.

Cloud entitlement behavior

Payment changes pause cloud, not your desktop workspace.

Free accounts

Free accounts can keep using the local desktop workspace. Cloud sync and future encrypted cloud backups require active entitlement.

Paid or code-enabled accounts

After entitlement is active, Settings Billing shows cloud sync availability and pending desktop queue entries can flush normally.

Cancelled or expired accounts

Local work remains editable. Cloud uploads and backups pause until billing is fixed and refreshed in the desktop app.
